If you are a big fan of bling bling, I hope these ads capture your attention. KM Oli, an advertiser for The Address magazine, has a problem – they don’t have an ad to advertise in the magazine. So guess who is doing it? I proposed two options, and much to my surprise, they picked the wedding couple. Good taste! Sometimes, client’s mind is unpredictable.

I was assigned to this real big campaign of Amway. It’s called “On The Move”, to celebrate the new Amway HQ. My boss was pretty nervous, as this is the great chance for our company to show to Amway, after a few Amway jobs we failed to get. It was indeed a real pressure to me too. There are four designers and each of us has come out with 4 logos for this campaign. Few days later, we got call from Amway, BINGO, they chose my logo, and BINGO again, they passed all the campaign materials for us to design, T shirt, hanging mobile, banner and plasma frame. Mooncake festival is around the corner, have you bought any mooncake for the celebration? I know Amway is promoting two new flavours, and an exquisite tea set, how do I know? I pitched for Amway mooncake leaflet. However, my design was like their mooncake, melt at first bite, did not get through.

Cover Exhibition

In 2008, 3 cover designs were enough to impress client. Then the terrible recession hit Malaysia, then the pressure on sales, then my hair and weight loss (side-effect from high-stress and high-tension), and now we need to produce 10 covers for each presentation in order to reach the quota (as the other agencies present 10 or more).
